Nina Leibman
Lucille Ball married Desi Arnaz in 1940 and Divorced in 1960 children: Lucille desiree and desi jr. Remarried in 1961 to gary morton. She was one of the few 1950's television stars to sucessfully fight the communist witch hunts of huac, when a 1953 walter winchell program attempted to derail her career.
This site helped my reaserch becuase it gave some home life exposure and also connected Luciile Ball politically.

Lucille Ball was known as the wise cracking red head, and even the vitametavegamin girl who dosed down spoonfuls of alchohol laced liquid shes trying to sell on tv.Everyone from around the world would watch as she conducted these hilarious routines for six seasons of "I love Lucy" Lucille Ball premeried in over 100 films, television shows and musicals. She opened up doors for other women actresses and in her sucess, she earned the title queen of comedy.
