Thesis Statement

Lucille Balls determination and ground breaking talents, led her to gain the title of "The Queen of comedy". Throughout the 1950's all the way up to today, her Independence as a woman through the years opened up doors for women comedians. Despite her title as just the wacky red head, she was also Intelligent enough to co-head her own corporation next to her husband Desi Arnaz.

This site explains how Lucy became an instant star on her first television routine "I Love Lucy". She wasn't always known as the crazy red head, In fact, she was born brunette. A major Metamorphosis came in place of Lucys life, changing from a blonde, sex symbol to a red-headed comedian. A quote from American Masters states " Through sheer determination and hard work, this one woman fundamentally changed the broad cats industry forever, and demolished preconceived notions about women, both at home and work. We can still feel Lucys influence and relevance today.

This site gives some further information about lucy leaving school to pursue her dream to become an actress. It also states she was not accepted and told she has no talent. After a while, she became a model for a famous fashion designer and was soon able to model for ciggarettes. She was exposed to hollywood in those years where she appeared in many movies one being too many girls where she met her husband desi arnaz. Becuase they both had their careers, their marriage began to fall appart and then they pitched an idea about a red headed carzy wife and a cuban band leader to cbs.CBS then turned their idea down so they used their money to produce the show themseleves. Thats how the desilu productions was born. I love lucy instantly becma e the most popular show in america. Her death is also mentioned.

I like your thesis statement. It has some grammatical errors that need to be corrected. Please include an introduction. You may start with a vivid description of Lucille Ball acting wacky on the sitcom - like the episode when she works at the chocolate factory. Or you may want to start with a quote from a critic or fan or family member describing Lucille.
